Laura began her Silva training in 1981 when she was fortunate enough to have taken the basic Silva course and an advanced Silva healing course (the Ultra) with the founder of the Silva Method, Jose Silva. Some successes that Laura has experienced include finding great jobs (through Dream Control and Intuition techniques), rapid healing of potential burn scarring (through Silva healing techniques), discovering the cause of a long-time illness (through Glass of Water technique), and envisioning and actualizing a desired future (with Mirror of the Mind technique). She has studied life transformation principles throughout her lifetime, learning from a variety of teachers and authors in the fields of psychology, philosophy, and brain science. These studies included attending live courses and seminars presented by Buckminster Fuller, Bob Proctor, Mary Morrissey, Jose Silva, Dr. Joan McGillicuddy, and Ken Coscia. She has studied works by numerous authors including Dr. Daniel G. Amen, Dr. Joseph Murphy, Dr. Maxwell Maltz, Dr. Carl Jung, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, Norman Cousins, and Wayne Dyer. Many of these studies and techniques overlap in approach and technique (which, in her view, validates the approaches).

Of all the methods and practices studied, the Silva Method has proven to be the most profound, practical, and life-changing course available then or now. Before becoming a Silva Instructor, Laura held a career in computer systems development and design, as well as leading teams in successful implementation of multimillion-dollar projects. This was a great training ground for learning how “programs’ work, not only in computers but also in the human mind.

 

Today, in addition to offering Silva Method training, Laura offers individual life and procrastination coaching, as well as informative and transformative seminars in those same areas. As a Certified Silva Method Instructor, Laura is delighted to offer in-person Silva Life System and Silva Intuition System training in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area so that she may share the techniques that she has benefited from these many years.
